Project Support

 We are a collaborative research team seeking to improve the lives of LGBTQ Youth. We conduct our research in communities and schools, and partner with stakeholders to yield meaningful work. Our goal is to understand the lived experiences and needs of LGBTQ youth and their support systems; and develop practical, supportive tools to promote their physical, behavioral, and social-emotional well-being. We believe in affirmative practices to help youth lead healthy, authentic lives.

The research we design has been co-developed with LGBTQ youth. We have monthly "junior" research team meetings where we hear what youth want or need, and we make carry it out in partnership through our university.
